Hello,
I am Owen Mast, owner of Outdoor Retreat. I’ve been working in the furniture industry for over
32 years because furniture has been a long-time passion of my family. My uncle and father were
the best teachers I could have asked for. They taught me “quality before quantity,” which
everyone here at Outdoor Retreat now holds to. We stand behind every piece of furniture we
build, so we’ll fix whatever may have been damaged along the way.
As a proud manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture in the USA, we focus on keeping up with
the trends, all with the highest quality workmanship. We also make sure that our furniture is
comfortable, and not just appealing to the eye. Much of our time designing our furniture was
dedicated to ensuring our pieces would be a good fit for multiple body types and people of all
ages.
Most other companies will only offer specific sizes for their catalog, but we specialize in
custom-sized table-tops. Everyone’s patio, deck, and social space is different, and we want to
make sure your needs are met. While we are an outdoor furniture manufacturer, we’ve been
amazed that our pieces are beloved enough that customers are also using them as indoor
pieces!
Our pieces that have become the most popular over time are:
- The Columbia-style Deep Seating series with cushions. These poly lumber pieces are
made to endure through the elements with rust-resistant screws and bracing. Our
cushion fabrics are also designed to resist fading, so you can get the most out of your
purchase for years.
- The Talieson, Galveston, and Shaker dining tables. Visually, these three are completely
different styles but are built with the same quality materials and attention to detail.
They’ve proven to be sturdy poly tables that stay gorgeous over time because they never
need to be sanded or re-stained.
Building furniture can be labor-intensive, but we love what we do. We are always trying to find
ways to continue offering the best quality while also making our production lines more efficient
to offer you better lead times and more competitive pricing.
